Well done, but it is hard to like a film where everyone is so relentlessly terrible. Delia is straight up evil to Charlotte for 20 year, ruining her chance of marriage, stealing her chld (even legally! Adopted her!) so why do I care? How does Doc Lanskell not know if it was bad and talk about what /delia/ sacrificed with here presumed, but never shown, guilt? Why is this a "tear-jerker"? I wanted it to be a revenge tale instead of watching horrible families be horrible.
