There are questionable plots, such as there is no way for Anna to release the last bad guy J. P. alive as it will potentially uncover all the secrets about the house, and she shouldn't have pushed the good guy Dan down into the basement since she has no intention to kill him at all. But don't let these minor issues deter you from enjoying this movie, in fact this thriller is effective, well done and entertaining. The orchestral soundtrack is also sophisticatedly composed, unlike the generic synth drones overly and cheaply used in most horror movies in recent years. I would like to see more movies from this director.
