It's still too soon to say, but the visual effects are not believable for sure. It shouts that the ship is in a studio far from water.
Update: At first the only complain was the visual effects, storyline was still good. But since they changed the writers after 7th episode everything headed towards the ground!
Predictable story, minimum development, removal of actors and worse than all the Ottomans scenes where they suddenly appear with some patriotic music and solve every problem made it totally unwatchable.
The story goes, without any suspense or meaningful progress. Eventually it gives a boring flashback to some secret coordination between the characters which results in a happy end that is not related to what you've watched at all! It wastes 2 hours with a single flashback. Because of this you end up saying: ah ok, so it was so!
The first 6 or 7 episodes was good. The rest is utterly bad. Stopped watching after episode 12.
The high rating is because of Ertugrul and fans of Engin Altan Düzyatan. Even him can't save this series. I guess it won't get a second season.
