Popeye is cast as Aladdin by screenwriter, Olive Oyl. The story is the same. A bad guy is after the lamp and Popeye doesn't realize quite what he has. Eventually, Popeye becomes the Prince and woos Olive. Even the lamp gets replaced by a greater source of power. It's a decent telling of the story but I miss the more conventional Popeye stuff.
