I watched this right after finishing Transformer Prime Season 1 to 3 and I'm absolutely touched. The story is INCREDIBLE, logics are tight, characters are ALIVE and the voice actors are simply amazing! To be honest, I never understood why Transformers are such a hit UNTIL I watched the TFP series, especially after getting so deeply disappointed by the non-sense, sexist Transformers movies first.

- Watch the Transformers Prime TV shows first before watching this movie; it will make the movie 10 times better, promise.
- If you only want to enjoy some special effects and mindless explosions and cares nothing about the story, character development and basic logics, by all means, go for the Transformers movies. But if you are sincere about getting to know a truly magnificent story and to see the real charm behind each Transformer, including the Decepticons, Transformers Prime WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. My only regret is that I watched the Prime series too fast.
