The acting was good, but some of the characters killed the vibe of the show as it went on. The Gretchen character becomes increasingly annoying and almost unbearable to watch, she ended up being the worst character on the show. They make the Lindsay character act too dumb at times, which I'm sure they meant for it to be funny but it just came off annoying as well. Only reason I continued watching was because of my need to finish things. It became increasingly painful to watch some of the episodes as the seasons went on, especially towards the end of the series. There were some parts that kept my attention but it got harder and harder to continue to watch till the end.
