. . . seed their ice angling holes with chewing tobacco, place a spitoon near their icy perforation, wait until the fish surface to spit and then club them to death like a Canadian itching for a baby seal fur coat. This animated short deserves high marks for this sporting tip, if nothing else. One of America's most persistent problems is its overabundance of scaled denizens of the deep. Sometimes the salmon run so dense that a river may contain more cubic inches of fish than it does of water. No one wants to wake up next to a dead fish. Why not ply them with the U. S. excess tobacco supply? Then many of these creepy finned critters might expire sight unseen, saving taxpayers a lot of dough for hooks and related tackle.
