Review of Infidel

Infidel (2019)
about faith
31 December 2021
It is difficult to say more about this film. At the first sigh, a political film, created for precise target, proposing/ remanding cultural conflict between Christianity and Islam, giving fight and beating scenes, accusing the bad Iran and using same old cheap cliches.

In my case, the motif to see this film was James Caviezel. The entire film is reduced , for this motif, to his words of faith. Obvious why. The rest - candies for audience. A Christian blogger at Cairo, defining his religious faith front to Muslim audience in a conference. Being more truth in this scenes than in all movie, I understand and I appreciate why Caviezel accepted this role. And he was real inspired.
