. . . POPEYE'S FIRE BRIGADE because legitimate film studio personnel realize that house fires are no laughing matter. At least 4,012 men, women and kiddies perished by flames in the U. S. alone in 1935, when the egregious MICKEY'S FIRE BRIGADE was foisted off upon the American Public. How many of these victims' survivors died laughing when they were ambushed by a showing of this heartless Dizzy Corporation misfire at their local cinema? Hopefully, not many. There's a reason that Tinsel Town featured Keystone Cops during its early days, but NOT Keystone Flame-Dousing Guys. Most people would call it Good Taste, or Common Sense. MICKEY'S FIRE BRIGADE behaves like the scary firemen of FAHRENHEIT 451: They come to your home, and BURN YOUR STUFF!! For shame!
