This was what Nimoy was reduced to, and Trekkies as well, when Star Trek was long canceled, he couldn't find other work, and his fans were hoping to see him somewhere, anywhere. Of course once the Star Trek films began again, he dropped it and it died a well deserved death.

It's as embarrassingly bad as Ancient Aliens, but with a far lower budget and production values. Nimoy gives these crackpot notions far greater gravity than they deserve.

Only nostalgia explains any of the high ratings.
