One of those wonderful adventure movies in technicolor they don't do anymore. Settings and costumes are fine, the stars Robert Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor and the rest of the cast too. What we get is one of those big Hollywood movies about honor and bravery, spiced up with some action and a big shot of romance. Ivanhoe - one of those epics that were made in a time where Hollywood really deserved the name: dream factory.
