The 80s were the pinnacle of night time drama, and Falcon Crest was a major part of it. Jane Wyman was perfect as Anglela Channing. It had drama, intrigue, and mystery. I enjoyed all but the last season which was a major disappointment, and like a whole other show. Still worth the watch.
