. . . has been infamous for hating music. Acclaimed "Silly Symphony" mastermind Carl Stalling was able to tolerate Walnut's low-brow tune vandals for only a few months before fleeing to a decades-long career at Warner Bros. SYMPHONY HOUR seems more like three or four hours, as it mercilessly murders famous tunes, smashes an orchestra worth of instruments and provides fodder for bullying to those viewers fortunate enough to have musicians in their family and school. Alleged role model and Dizzy rabble leader Mickey himself whips out a massive firearm to completely slaughter any harmonic ideas here.
