Don't expect a grisly horror movie form this film, though with Price, Karloff and Lorre you would expect exactly that. Played definitely with tongue in cheek it has it's moments, especially with some decent special effects for it's time. Price especially seems to be having a ball in a somewhat comedic role, add to this the beautiful Hazel Court as his former wife and a young Jack Nicholson this is an enjoyable romp. Just don't expect to be hiding behind the couch.
