This cartoon deserves high marks for its blatant . . .

. . . brazen bamboozling of the bayonet dudes that frisked every Dizzy Gang employee each time they entered the Top Secret official cartoon division of the U. S. Army during World War Two. The rodent rabble got their kicks seeing how much Highly Classified information they could sneak into their so-called "entertainment"--i.e., not propaganda--animated shorts, counting of this to spur theater ticket sales to the hordes of enemy spies. Early in THE PLASTICS INVENTOR, detailed blueprints for a fighter plane capable of "climbing like a rocket, and diving like a comet" are pictured, complete with Real Life parts numbers. My neighbor, a retired aeronautics engineer, took a gander at this material and asserted that it is probably still officially "Off Limits" to the General Public even today. Along with its emphasis on experimental aviation, this nefarious film "spilled way too many beans."
