Not gonna lie, I refrained from letting my very young daughter watch this show until I had time to watch it with her to see what kind of content it contained.
Dreamhouse Adventures is now a staple in our household, and I tell everyone about it. This show presents a Barbie that is:
Modern yet portrays a healthy family dynamic supportive yet has firm boundaries humble yet confident outgoing yet sensitive positive yet genuine Graciously flawed yet strong & capable grapples with internal and external issues with kindness to others
I could go on. This is everything I look for in a good children's show. The Barbie portrayed in this series is a phenomenal role model for daughters everywhere; and the storylines/animation/colors are engaging for little girls while teaching wholesome lessons applied to a modern world.
Mattel; please make 10 seasons of this show. You've really knocked it out of the park with this one. Bonus points: my daughter spent her allowance on a Barbie recently specifically because of this show.
