Seizure (1974)

Warning: Spoilers
A rather strange film that just might give you a seizure as you try and work out what is going on, why it's going on and who are all these people supposed to me. It's all rather confusing. Jonathan Frid as the main character Edmund Blackstone looks puzzled throughout. One knows how he felt. It concerns a writer of horror stories having dreams, visions, nightmares... or something. It is mainly set in one location and is mostly a bit tedious. There are moments of tension but they are soon dissipated and Hervé Villechaize as Spider tries hard but he doesn't convince as a threatening figure. In its favour the film does have Martine Beswick playing 'The Queen' and dominating each scene she is in. A dull offering of a movie.

The knife fight near the end was hilarious though.
