This is a low budget movie, that seems to take a page out of noir (no pun intended - and this may actually be inspired by a comic, at least the end is sort of implying that ... I reckon you can tell, if so that I haven't read it). And there are plenty of action scenes to keep you busy. And really well done ones. Sometimes they seem to be an homage (like the hallway scece that is very reminiscent of Old Boy).
There is also a fair amount of nudity. In case you care for that one way or another. The main focus is the whodunnit and the quest for redemption ... with a timeline that has back and forths ... again no pun intended. Because there is also a different back and forth going on - actually one that is also super funny, because the two characters are insulting each other while also .. "making love" to each other ... it's funny and hot, but only a short joke (that is definitely not a pun).
If you like low budget movies, I do not need to convince you to watch this ... you will do so yourself. Acting is also quite solid.
