Review of Mankatha

I watched it as I heard it was the only piece of good cinema in Ajith's career, and found it heavily boring. The setup is meant to be comedy, offers nothing of value, is cringe, and leaves you uninterested. But fast forwarding on, the usual hallmark offerings of Indian cinema are clearly visible: cars jumping around, nonsensical fight scenes.

I might give this another try, but probably won't.

Also, the BGM, though iconic, isn't the best in Tamil cinema by far. 'Rain Fight' in Kaala surpasses it easily.
