Gritty, bloody, what a bleak crime thriller which is purely Korean, without anything taken from Hollywood crap industry; no influence from the West, except maybe this awesome car chase which is the only good point that we could find from American movies. The main character is really compelling, poignant, and that increases, emphasizes the impact of his fate on the audiences. Yes, this movie belongs to the list of Korean material which was not contaminated by the US craps virus, disease, with their ever happy f... endings made for idiots. NIGHT IN PARADISE, SYMPATHY FOR MR VENGEANCE, I SAW THE DEVIL, THE CHASER, BITTERSWEET LIFE. These are also pure absolute gems too from South Korea.
