Kelly dates the spawn of Norman Bates and Seabiscuit.

Al, Peggy and Bud return from a softball match, their team having lost yet another game. Al decides that he must replace their weakest player, Peggy, with another woman (the rules stipulate that all teams must have three female players). Bud suggests Kelly, but his sister is too busy with her new boyfriend Brian (Kris Kamm), who wants Kelly to show how much she loves him by getting a tattoo of his name.

Later, Jimmy (John Dennis Johnston), an old high school flame of Peggy's, arrives at the Bundy's home to reminisce, and reveals how he got Peggy's name tattooed on his arm right before she dumped him. It turns out that Brian is Jimmy's son and history is about to repeat itself.

As much as I love this show, I have to admit that sometimes it could be distinctly average, lacking that special comedic spark that elevates certain episodes to classic status. This is one such example, with only a few genuine laughs courtesy of Al, whose best lines come right at the end when he describes Jimmy's overweight wife (also named Peggy): "She was wearing a muumuu, but it had to be slit so she could fit into it. And she... Peg, she had no knees!"
