John Wayne plays a police detective for the first time in his career in this Bullitt rip off that was originally made for Steve McQueen. The problem is Wayne is 67 years old here and he was also suffering through pneumonia and a divorce during filming so there's a lot of scenes where he feels like he's just going through the motions. The script isn't that impressive either, other than the unique Seattle locations, some car chases and a fun final on a beach with a Mac-10 there's really nothing memorable here for anyone to hunt this down.
