Business, Peggy Bundy style.

Even an avid Pauly Shore fan (if such a person exists) probably wouldn't find that much to enjoy about this mediocre episode in which the California Man star has a role: it's not that it's awful... it just isn't very memorable. It also follows hot on the heels of 'Can't Dance, Don't Ask Me', in which Kelly did her awesomely sexy dance routine, so it's bound to feel like a bit of a letdown, Ms. Applegate hardly appearing in this one at all.

In this Al and Peggy-centric tale, Peggy gets a job organising cosmetic parties, her commission being more than Al makes as a shoe salesman. To boost his income, Al gets a second job at space-age fast food restaurant Burger Trek, answering to an obnoxious boss half his age (Shore). The plot is lame, the gags are so-so, and Shore had yet to perfect his spaced-out surfer schtick that some people seemed to enjoy for a brief moment in time. The episode ends with Al discovering that Peggy's only cosmetics customer is herself, and that she owes more money than she has made. To help pay her debts, Peggy gets a new job... at Burger Trek!
