I'll start this off by saying I have no read the book, but would like to. As I can tell this is a true telling of how jeffrey dahmer came to be written by one of his classmates. There is no actual murder in this movie and no action so if you were expecting that then this is not the film for you. What it really is, is an interesting look at the younger years of the serial killer and how he copes with life in highschool. As we see here he is a misfit but ends up making friends in a way that you would not expect. Looking past everything that happens this is a well made movie and the portrait painted almost makes you feel sorry for him. Ross lynch plays the role well and the rest of the cast work for the verious characters. Its overall an interesting movie and entertaining if somewhat sad at the same time.
