Hal Roach presents His Rascals. It's an early silent era Our Gang short. The kids are fighting a rival gang in a game of war. It's trench warfare at its cutest. They try to find work at West Coast Studios. When they get kicked out, the gang sneaks in and causes havoc. Harold Lloyd does make an appearance.
There is some good fun chaos here. The kids are cute. I don't know them by name. I'm not that familiar with this series. If given more time, these kids could develop some individuality. That's what this series needs. These kids need catch phrases and personalities. They are very individual in looks. The mix is commendable. It's a fun time with lots of kiddie slapstick.
