Review of Bad Candy

Some movies makes you think "well, that's '90 minutes' I'll never get back". Bad Candy is not that kind of movie I dare say.

Think of the original Creepshow movies from the 80s, Bad Candy is an anthology movie like those.

Sure, it's a low-budget indie movie, but that can also have it's charm. It certainly is one of those movies made in the involved people's spare time, or it feels like it at least. That also has it's charm... kind of.

They went all-in with 80s-like non-CGI effects, and that's something I tend to like in these CGI times. The makeup is really overdone on some characters. Most characters are stiff, and they should've read the scripts to make the dialogues more snappy and realistic.

It's pretty cool that Corey Taylor (of the band Slipknot) is a part of this movie. I think maybe he's the best actor too. Hehe!
