The Moor, General Othello, Orson Welles marries Desdemona in Venice then returns to battle in Cyprus where to the annoyance of Iago, he appoints Cassio as his no 2. As revenge, Iago plans to destroy Cassio by manipulating Othello into making him believe that Desdemona has been unfaithful with Cassio.
