No pun intended - who owns you? Or the main character that is ... well he owes us more than he gives us for sure! Beanie Seagal is an excellent rapper/musician, but I would argue he isn't the best actor. That being said, it is not just him who falls flat here. There are a lot of people in this, who almost litereally play themselves (sorry for the pun) and yet still are unable to convince.
Making great music (though you may disagree with that too) and making good movies or giving good performances do not go hand in hand. I skipped this back in the day when it came out ... and it was a good decision.
A lot of nudity, which surprised me a little bit, but I reckon it was to be expected. I was not offended or anything and I am just mentioning it for those who care, one way or the other.
