Would love to see the story progress overtime! The first episode was refreshing for a crime drama. To have the story develope around romance is something that I haven't seen before. Normally viewers have to be dragged along through 3 seasons of frustration to see the love interest " develop. I'm very interested to see how they write their relationship into the show. I think having the family aspect gives them room to play, allowing it to not always have to be about the two main characters. I Especially like the niece 's character... Amazing to see deaf & hard of hearing being represented.
The acting seems to be un-cringe worthy which is hard to find in pilots. And it's cool to think about the chemistry and personality that is to come from them. Overall I think we need a crime drama like this, and I hope that they give the show at least 2 seasons to see everything develop!
