Warning: Spoilers
I'm not sure why movies and tv shows exploring teacher and student relationships are omnipresent - it's not an interesting premise and barely anyone can relate to it. But sometimes I'm a sucker of watching a bad Lifetime movie, just so I can review it and point out flaws. The script has no room for buildup and any potential twist in the story is obvious.

This teacher, while financially well off, has a meager existence. She's lost the spark with her workaholic husband, their daughter is a rebel, and she's stuck trying to fend off two people - a creepy coworker named Richard and an aggressive and psychotic student named James. There were really too many side stories to make this a credible movie.

We come to learn that at the age of 13, James killed his father, as he was an abusive man. But my question is, why does this translate to James going after teachers and trying to ruin their reputations?

The only thing worth mentioning is that the Florida landscape is beautifully captured.
