Phyllis Coates is cast as a devout Mormon girl whose mission is to transport smallpox vaccine to her friends and neighbors. Unfortunately, this requires her to journey through hostile Indian territory. Appointing themselves as the girl's unofficial protectors are Indian scout Scott Brady, trapper Don Haggerty and (reluctantly) gambler Paul Richards.

A familiar tale of trekking through Indian territory is given a boost by Coate's performance- her character is very likeable and she is far from a damsel in distress, Scott Brady as the bitter gunfighter and the simple yet thoughtful dialogue. It can be a bit slow and nothing you haven't seen before, but it's not too bad. Makes a decent time pass. It feels like a TV western episode.
