Enough to drive an aviation enthusiast mad

Warning: Spoilers
This is a terrible movie. I'm familiar with the real life incident and things that happen in this movie sure not only extremely unlikely to happen, some are just outright impossible. And the visuals are horrible even for a budget studio, I have literally made better creations on my own PC, even if the render took a long time to process.

And while this was an intense situation, it is far too overdramatized. If you are a flight sim user, it'll drive you nuts, if you're a pilot or ATC you'll spend half your time laughing and the other half yelling.

YouTube has some great videos on the actual incident, and the even the ATC comms. This movie probably didn't need to be made and the actors have probably only damaged their reps. This movie only fits with a message of Christian faith, and that is actually a big part of the real incident. I will say for the movie being overdramatized, Dennis Quaid doesn't speak nearly as dramatically as the real person involved. The truth is though, that this movie fits with how the real person acted after the the incident, not giving enough credit to professionals that saved him and leaning into the faith aspect more but sometimes in not very Christian ways. I'm a Christian, but the knowledge of the folks that helped him more than anything, plus he was more competent than he gave himself credit for. In fact his main problem in the real incident was his panic, though many individuals would panic more.

This is just a bad movie in every way.
