I don't know why people are so mean about a watchable movie that could have been better if they hadn't had dubbed the main characters lines- one wonders why he was cast if they hated his voice so much but that's Hollywood! The narrator was annoying! Mr. Robards could have played Mr. Grant more to Grant's historical characterization in my opinion and it would have been much funnier. But the movie was quite enjoyable for what it was and the effects weren't bad at all. How can you not like the Baddies getting what they deserve? Isn't that what a good western is all about? And it was pretty true to the historical fiction that is The Lone Ranger. So if you have Peacock it's worth the time to watch it!
