Out of all the horrormovies out there, this does not sit on top along with the scariest, even if it has some iconic and effective jumpscares! If you like jumpscares though, this movie is just for you! It does have some creepy scenes, setting and imagery that will get under your skin at times!... but it also has a lot of jumpscares with loud music, noises etc
The story might not be something new, but it does have a unique and fresh premise and take on things with "The further" and astral projection which makes sure it does not turn into an averahe possesion movie!
The characters are fine and memorable and the franchise still attracts attention since we now got a Fifth movie coming!
