Let it Shine is a 2012 musical comedy starring Tyler James Williams,Courtney B Vance,Coco Jones and Halle and Chloe Bailey.
A shy rapper named Cyrus(Willams) works at a choir with his father who's a minister (Vance) playing music at his church, but Cyrus dreams of making if big with his former childhood crush Roxy(Jones). When Cyrus discovers that Roxy is looking for the next big thing,he decides to send in a demo,but his friend gets mistaken for him and he goes in Cyrus's place. Will Roxy find out the truth?.
Overall it was a good flick. The songs are good,the acting was good and ot was also nice seeing then unknowns Chloe Bailey and her sister Halle Bailey(who is now playing Ariel in The Little Mermaid reboot).
