Extended Sit-Com With Language

Warning: Spoilers
I saw Book Club: The Next Chapter, starring Diane Keaton-Mack & Rita, the Godfather movies; Jane Fonda-Grace and Frankie_tv, Barbarella; Candice Bergen-Murphy Brown_tv, The Sand Pebbles and Mary Steenburgen-Nightmare Alley, Last Vegas.

This is a sequel to the 2018 Book Club movie with the same actors reprising their roles. Diane, Jane, Candice and Mary are the 4 friends that are the only members in the book club but when covid hit, they had to continue their meetings using video chat rooms. After covid lets up, they decide to take a trip to Rome-it was on their to do list years earlier so they figure it is time. Jane tells the group that she is newly engaged and the rest of the group decide to make their trip to Rome a bachelorette party. Along the way, they get into minor troubles-loosing their luggage, brushes with the police, running into old boyfriends, etc.-which kind of reminded me of an extended sitcom, only with more suggestive language and innuendos. My wife seemed to like it more than I did.

It's rated PG-13 for language and sexual content-no nudity-and has a running time of 1 hour & 47 minutes.

It's not one that I would buy on DVD but it would be a good one to take any older people-like your parents-to see or even stream it for them.
