I don't understand why this movies gas so many negative reviews. I know that many see this movie as long and dull, but this is a very dark and atmospheric film. This is a look at child abuse and evil, selfish parents and the adult children that survive them but not without emotional scars. It also has a strong supernatural elements that work very well here. The movie is beautifully shot and the musical score that interweaves wonderfully, it gives the movie an almost surreal and fantastical feel to it. If you are looking for a horror movie with gore and jump scares, this is not for you but if you don't mind a slower paced, more cerebral film with a deep story, then Reunion will be a treat.
