Review of Sisu

Sisu (2022)
8/10
Stunning quiet moments and vast context of beautiful, desolate tundra
27 May 2023
Poetic Norse myth spin on vigilante orgy of violence formula, but it works because of stunning quiet moments and vast context of beautiful, desolate tundra which reclaims all causes and characters in the end. It's a bit creepy and cool how this happens throughout the film. Watching Sisu may cause you to feel inexplicably cold.

I could yammer on about modern myths and archetypes and provide some self important or egotistical drivel to satisfy IMDb's idiotic minimum word count, at the expense of any sane or humble sense of succinctness, but that would only insult the reader nearly as much as it shames the author to indulge their corporate nonsense, so please just ignore this entire wretched paragraph.
