This could have genuinely been great but it felt like a rushed production to spit something out for profit. It's funny enough but it gets tiring when every line feels like the set up to a punchline.
IDK what the budget was for this show but they certainly did not put much towards the food or decorations and that's the point of the show. "drag me to dinner" they are competing by setting up a dinner party.
They get 90 minutes to make the food and decorate the space, they should get 90 minutes to do each. The food ends up being so rushed and so does the decorations that it almost doesn't even matter.
Some of the queens are what made this enjoyable, because the actual concept was executed so poorly. This could have just been something on youtube as opposed to hulu. At least then the sloppiness and rush of it all would be somewhat justified. I do like that nothing felt scripted though, the jokes are definitely on the fly and the queens are giving us what they can!
