6/10
A so-so beginning for this great series

Warning: Spoilers
The first episode of Shakespeare: The Animated Tales, and the weakest one in my opinion, mostly due the somewhat awkward animation style, quite resembling of the shows created by Klasky Csupo.

There is a sharp contrast between the flowery dialogue from the Shakespeare text and the character designs, with Puck in particular having a rather goofy appearence, almost comparable with the Ralph Bakshi portrayal of Samwise Gamgee in his 1978 Lord of the Rings movie.

It's not bad by any means, though is certainly not like I would have imagined the text via animation (I honestly think the visual style from the "As you Like It" would have been more fitting, but whatever.)
