Great plot, script, casting and acting. £50,000 in 1951 is about £2,040,000 in 2023 so an amount well worth having. Four stories all running along nicely with twists and turns with Mr Sim being his usual bumbling character to great effect. A morality tale times four all to show the four beneficiaries that there are better things than money, not many would agree with that these days, or even back in 1951 probably. Audrey Hepburn's character did not have much screen time or lines but it nice see her anyway. The ending was not much of a surprise however but it's still a film very well worth watching.
