Albuquerque (1948)
10/10
A great balance of action, romance, humour

I knew I would enjoy this film from reading the synopsis on the cover, and I did. This film did a great job of balancing action, romance and humour without going to far in one direction. Cole played by the ever dashing Scott arrives to town in a stage which had been robbed, He came to Albuquerque to work for his uncle. Cole is a quick study and realizes his uncle is loathed by the town. He joins forces with a rival freighting company. Coles uncle tries to stop them by any means thru his brutish muscle Lon Cheney jr. It was a great watch and very much enjoyed all the characters, Gabby Hayes is a good sidekick and offers up some humour throughout especially when you get to meet his lady friend whom he talks about the whole film and we only see in the ending. Delightful 5/5.
