Ever watch a good movie but did not know how to end it? Well, Scorpio gave me the above mentioned feeling. A private contractor, and the handler have a good personal relationship! The movie is based on the relation ship! The mentor is told to kill the handler! Why? Keeps the viewer guessing wanting to know more! The other harden characters are excellently casted. K G B, C I A and go between add solid suport for the story. Lancaster is the top spy who know the spy craft well, and is hard to catch. Who is double crossed. Good dialogue, act sequences, but the ending! Horrible. So bad I said what just happened here. Maybe the story did not translate well from book to movies. Would been better if a surprise double cross ended the conclusion! Looked like a slapped together ending or noone know how to finish the project? Could of been a classic, but I Scorpio 6 stars. Was solid 8 before the ending.
