After 2 incredible efforts from DC in Dark Knight Returns part 1 & 2, we're back to the mediocrity unfortunately. "Superman: Unbound" goes into the whole story of Superman/girl vs Brainiac which I guess sounds good in paper, but it was just very 'meh' executed.
Don't get me wrong, it was not bad, but nor was it good. It was just very average with a not so well executed plot/story. Also I have to say it since i've not seen anyone else say it, but Superman looked very weird in this, especially his jawline and just face in general. Probably one of my least favorite portrayals of Superman. The voice actor did a decent job though, so nothing against him. The movie just fell really flat to me, and that's about all I have to say about that.
