For me watching this I can understand what is going on but I cannot really feel how a woman feels when pregnant, especially when she is very young and did not really know the man. There was another problem for me on this one when I couldn't make out what was going on because it almost looks like today but it isn't now like it in France or England. I understand that the director didn't want to make the film a 'period piece' and she wanted to show what it was like for countries that are still like it. It is a well done film but it was extremely slow and even though we know at the start what will happen as the weeks countdown.
