I believe it's 15 years ago I watched Full metal alchemist, and after that Full metal alchemist brotherhood.
It's been wonderful relieving the story, which is so amazing, *and* to boot, in live action!
Did it leave me the blubbering mess I was while watching the anime? Sadly no, but I did not expect it to.
Could the movie over all have been better? Sure. But I'm not overly disappointed either. I did not expect it to surpass the manga or the anime. I do believe that you should never expect anything of a live action rendition of a beloved anime. Only to be entertained.
As far as I can remember the storyline followed Brotherhood, which I don't mind since I liked the ending better in that one.
So to sum up - if you're a fan, this will probably put a smile to your lips :)
I think I will boot up the original episodes again, going through the emotional rollercoaster once more xD.
