I went into this believing, even hoping that bits and pieces of Poe's poetry would be woven into the movie. It didn't really occur.
I was hoping that even some of his actual immortal lines would make it into dialogue, did not really occur.
Straight forward script writing, no poetry occurs, except for a quick rhyme sex innuendo at one point, and they go all out on the heart, but there is literally none of the poetry
cinematography was quite good, acting good, dude who plays Poe did well
Just don't get your hopes up that a NON independent movie with a budget weaves some actual poetry into it, thats all I am saying.
