talking conspiracy
8 August 2023
It's 1963. There is a right wing conspiracy out to get the Kennedys. James Farrington (Burt Lancaster), Robert Foster (Robert Ryan), and others convince oil magnate Harold Ferguson (Will Geer) to join them. They start focusing on a suspicious oddball named Lee Harvey Oswald. They have found their patsy.

This is a lot of old rich white men talking. It has the old footage mixed in. It's not really a thriller since it has no thrills. It's a conspiracy theory generated docudrama. It reminds me of Oliver Stone without the cinematic kinetic energy and that is my main issue. Without that energy, it's not more than a writing exercise.
