Good cinematography, but steals bits from older and better movies like the hand through plants and death of the hero from Gladiator, and musical cues too similar to Last of the Mohicans to be a coincidence. Action is good and seems to have been practiced successfully. Landscapes are spectacular and are really the best part of the film. The acting isn't particularly inspired, nor does the script present anything memorable. There is a cute alien lizard that appears a couple of times, otherwise, no animals help make things interesting. This is another okay way to kill time, but I wouldn't make any effort to reccomend it to my friends.
