Warning: Spoilers
When the characters in this film have a "black warrant," they do not read the perp his rights ... they just start shooting!

Despite the well-choreographed action scenes, the film proceeded at a sluggish pace. But it picked up steam when the two characters working at cross purposes recognize that they are father and son.

With the setting in Mexico, Tony Vanowen is a DEA agent on the trail of a terrorist planning to set off a doomsday device. The old timer Nick Falconi is simultaneously brought out of retirement to kill the key witness in the custody of Vanowen.

Then, suddenly, the two men have their recognition scene! Nick had turned the upbringing of his young son over to relatives because of his dangerous work as a hired killer. Finally, decades later, they are reunited in a common cause. The villains in the film were cardboard characters who frequently go down like bowling pins.

There was a good love connection established in the relationship of Tony and Mina. But the main attraction is that of father and son who seem to form a superb partnership in the execution of black warrants.
